APR's Story so far
APR's story began long before the company was founded. Paul and Alan first met while working in the print and finishing industry, where they built a strong friendship and a great deal of respect for each other's knowledge and experience. Between them, they have over 90 years of hands on engineering experience, mainly in print finishing.
They both started on the shop floor, learning machinery properly, understanding the applications, and solving real production problems day in and day out. Their knowledge was not learning from a text book. It was built over years of working on machines, dealing with faults and understanding what it really takes to keep production moving.
That shared experience and their understanding of what customers actually need, became the foundation of APR.
Paul and Alan founded AP Rollers in 2012, using their print finishing industry experience to supply precision roller to customers across the sector. With their engineering background, they soon saw they could help with more than rollers alone. Many customers were also facing conveyor belt and transmission belt problems, so they brought the same practical knowledge and problem solving approach to belting solutions.
When they discovered Nitta Corporation, they knew it was the right fit. Nitta shared their values of quality, engineering excellence and reliable performance. Their belts were already proven in the demanding print finishing and manufacturing environments Paul and Alan knew so well.
With Nitta's support, the business grew from AP Rollers into APR Solutions. Then today, the focus is still the same, to give the customer the right solution, backed by real engineering knowledge, honest advise and dependable service.
